We need someone who can BOTH hunt (prospect) and farm (account management) and knows the Transport, Trailer or Transport Brokerage Industry (or similar). Is this you? Read on and apply today!
- Grow your sales territory and revenues through cold calls, networking, referrals, attend industry events such as trade shows and other methods.
- Manage your accounts by providing exceptional customer service, following up on orders, dealing with any issues and being there for them when they need it.
- Manage a sales budget and achieve your P/L targets.
- Track and report your numbers on a regular basis. This should come as second nature as true sales performers OWN their numbers.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE IS
- Sales motivated and loves the thrill of the hunt.
- Experienced in transport sales or a similar industry.
- An outside sales professional currently but we will look at strong inside sales reps too.
- Has contacts in the industry that they can reach out to.
- Is not shy to cold call, lead a sales presentation or ask for a referral.
- Decisive, yet open to learning: you believe in continuous improvement.
- A believer in knowing and understanding the numbers behind a sale.
- An excellent communicator both verbal and written.
- Work with minimal supervision.
- Able to work from the office, at home or on the road with the same level of professionalism and detail in each setting.
- Someone who can use all of the Microsoft Office tools.
